Disregarding the suggestion of a 13 year Police Chief to keep this officer from possibly harming the public. Not only was the suggestion unheeded, it was reversed and he kept his rank and placed back on duty. Outside forces were clearly in play with this decision. As America burns, understand there are Chiefs trying to do the right thing. Doing the right thing is not always easy, it is even hard at times. The public relies on us with a great amount of trust. This is a failure of that trust on all levels.
