James Singleton, Riggs, and Bleess can’t be trusted. 11/17/2022

It seems James likes to run his mouth. First, on July 18th, he claimed to have spoken to the JVPD evidence tech about the previous administration not having an evidence refrigerator and implied they did not. This is simply not the case and James knows it. A PIR was filed and the city fought it, as usual, to protect their lying councilmember. James loves to throw accusations about because that is what weak people do. City Manager Austin Bleess is aware of this as well. He has been in the property room and received quarterly audits showing this information.

A PIR request revealed that the previous administration not only had an evidence refrigerator, but evidence was stored there when James ran his mouth.

To make matters worse, James goes on to his paid job at the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and runs his mouth about a former JVPD employee. He then garners an investigation and lands himself a verbal warning. This time he again spread lies and got caught. All while a seated councilmember of Jersey Village.

He then continues to tell the poor subject he was glad the former Chief and Lt. Dooley were gone. I am sure he is because these two people knew about his departure from JVPD for allegedly masturbating in police cars and being asked to leave the agency.

Maybe Singleton can explain the rise in crime since the previous administration left since he shows such law enforcement prowess. A staggering 53 % rise in Part 1 crimes plus another 32% projected rise for a grand total of an 85% INCREASE in the most horrific crimes since the previous administration left. My question is why are Riggs, Bleess, and Singleton still there. Are the citizens OK with this? This is a failed administration.

Part I and Part II crimes are defined by the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Program. Part I Offenses include murder, rape, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, larceny, motor vehicle theft, arson, human trafficking – commercial sex acts, and human trafficking – involuntary servitude.
