If you think government doesn’t lie, think again. Here is the first response from the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office on 07/27/2022 to a FOIA request for Singleton’s personnel history of sustained complaints:
They were not counting on me having a copy of this:
Singleton is unfit to be on city council.
A current city council member (Singleton) had a brief, yet checkered employment history with the City of Jersey Village. Employed from 5/2008 to 11/2008.

One must ask why he only worked for JVPD for 6 months before being asked to leave?
He listed “Personal Reasons” for leaving the department. See the memo noted in the lawsuit.
Other agencies felt his job history was not worthy of selection for their agencies.
