Officer Involved Shooting and claim of no body worn cameras

It will be interesting to know if these current policies were violated:

I am also curious why the Chief of Police claims there are no body worn cameras within the JVPD. Several Officers reported they were issued body worn cameras from Watchguard. These were issued by the Patrol Lieutenant and downloaded at the end of shift nightly. All someone has to do is to complete a public information request for any videos captured on these cameras and stored on the department server. On July 21st, 2020, Chief Riggs claimed the department did not have body worn cameras.

It seems like the truth is elusive for some reason. There is no mistaking the pictures taken from the Jersey Village Police Department FaceBook page on July 2nd, 2020 clearly shows JVPD officers wearing body worn cameras.

Jersey Village does have a truthfulness policy. The question now is if it actually applies to the Chief of Police or not?

Could it be because these policies were not issued and the officers were not trained in the use or operation of the cameras? In any case, there is something not right with this situation and there appears to be some issues with leadership here.

Does Brady apply here?

Despite what Chief Riggs says, the pictures shown below are Watchguard cameras from brochures. They look alot like the cameras being worn by the JVPD officers shown on the Facebook page.
