At what point is Austin Bleess and Chief Riggs going to be held accountable for the massive exodus from Jersey Village? This doesn’t even include the other department heads and staff members that have left the city under this oppressive regime. This is FAILED leadership in action. Does anyone even want to remain working at Jersey Village at this point? Look at this list of people who vacated Jersey Village employment.
Officer Kevin Alley terminated 07/15/20 after writing a complaint of the promotional process within the department.
Officer Jimmy Holley- left the department 09/01/2020 for greener pastures. Another great loss for the City Of Jersey Village.
Lt. Lopez- Terminated 11/30/2020 for doing the same thing others got “mulligans” for.
Tara Tanner- job eliminated at the Fire Department
Cathy Braneff– left after being harassed by JVPD command staff.
Ricky Ostermayer– another one harassed to point of leaving.
Dusty Bryant– FIRED after reporting unfair hiring practices at the police department to Austin Bleess, City Manager.
Mark Zatzkin– RESIGNED 01.21.2021
Jason Boughter- DEMOTED and now working for another agency
Jason Coble- FIRED after leaving and then returning to Jersey Village 10/2021
