Gross Ineptitude-

The joke called Jersey Village Police continues their display of ineptitude by completely failing again. This all falls on Austin Bleess and Chief Riggs for allowing the continued spiral of a once proud and productive police force. It seems they are suffering a systemic lack of leadership, and that begins with the City Manager- Austin Bleess and Chief Riggs. Your work product is a reflection of leadership, or lack thereof. Remember, Austin Bleess hired Chief Riggs.

“Meanwhile, the case has since prompted an administrative investigation within the Jersey Village Police Department.

Police issued an update on Friday saying a man was seen driving Oslin’s rental car through the parking lot of the hotel Wednesday morning. He parked the vehicle near the hotel’s pool area around 8:17 a.m. and was seen leaving, police said.

The next morning, an officer came across the vehicle with Honey inside and informed the hotel’s manager.

“Since the vehicle had not been entered into the [Texas Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center] system as a stolen vehicle at this time, and the officer had no indication it was a stolen vehicle, the officer returned to the vehicle and turned it off to prevent it from being stolen,” read a statement issued by JVPD.

Hours later, another officer, who was patrolling the area, noticed the pig was still alive in the vehicle.

Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office, along with its livestock unit, responded to the scene around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday to care for Honey, who later died.”
